Millets Mini Makers
Saturday 22nd June
We welcomed the launch of Millets Mini Makers in December last year and we will continue with our Children's cooking workshops with our very own head baker, Cupcake Kate throughout 2019!
Cupcake Kate will be making the most of the fresh produce grown on the farm, and children will get very hands on making some yummy delights.
Join us in the second of this years workshop...Summer Teddy Bears Picnic!
The children & their bears will start off by boarding the tractor trailer for a ride to our Pick Your Own fields where they will then pick strawberries to use within the cooking session. With the delicious Millets grown strawberries in hand they will then make strawberry cupcakes plus mini ones for their teddies, cheese scones and a strawberry cheesecake in a tub; all to take home and enjoy!

"My word what can I say! What an absolutely brilliant afternoon!
I came with my 5 year daughter, Annabelle, who loves cooking. We saw this advertised and decided to have a girls afternoon cooking together and it was everything, if not more than we hoped it would be.
It was run brilliantly, the 2 lovely ladies delivered it in a way that engaged all the kids, went at a good pace and had wonderful art and craft activities available to fill the time while the goodies cooked. It was all timed to perfection and every minute was full of fun.
The ingredients pre-weighed was a great idea because my daughter could be almost independent in her cooking, and anything involving cracking an egg is a win for her!
I felt the size of the group was perfect and the beautiful setting of the room was lovely, the little touches like having refreshments available and toilets so close to hand was perfect!
I think it was incredibly good value for money and I came away with a very happy little girl who has taken in her photos of the afternoon for show and tell at school.
It's wonderful to have a cooking workshop, my daughter isn't a sports fan and can be shy in big groups but this ticked every box for us and we will definitely be booking on the next one you run.
Thank you so much and please pass my feedback onto those two lovely ladies"
