Farm Shop
Deli Counter – Team Leader
37.5 hours per week
Mondays 8:00am – 16:00pm, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
We’re looking for an organised and enthusiastic Team Leader to lead our deli counter, located in our farm shop and ensure our customers receive outstanding service and high-quality food every time.
About the Role
As our Deli Team Leader, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the deli counter, including serving fresh foods, maintaining displays, and ensuring high hygiene standards. You’ll also be responsible for guiding and motivating the deli team to deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving customers, slicing cheeses, and preparing deli items
- Maintaining attractive and well-stocked displays
- Ensuring all food safety and hygiene procedures are followed
- Managing stock levels and assisting with ordering
- Providing training and guidance to team members
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a deli, food retail, or hospitality environment
- Supervisory or team leader experience essential
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Passion for food and great customer service
- Flexible approach to working, especially during busy seasonal periods

Till Supervisor – with till operator hours additionally available.
Minimum 25.5hrs/week with scope for additional hours and a flexible approach to working pattern required.
Normal shift pattern: Sunday, Monday, Thursday Supervisor (can pick up additional hours as a customer service advisor).
We are looking for an organised and confident Till Supervisor to oversee the smooth running of our tills, located in our Farm Shop.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising the daily operation of the till staff
- Providing excellent customer service and resolving queries efficiently
- Supporting and training till staff to maintain high standards
- Handling cash and card transactions
- Monitoring queues and ensuring customer flow is well managed
- Assisting with breaks, sickness, and general team organisation
- Ensuring company policies on food safety, health & safety, and customer care are followed
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service is essential
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Confident with cash handling and till systems
- Reliable, organised, and able to work well under pressure
- A team player with a proactive and positive attitude

Farmhouse Kitchen Restaurant
Head Chef – Immediate Start Available
Full Time | 5 out of 7 days per week | 7:00am – 4:00pm
£40,000 – £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head Chef to take charge of our kitchen operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled leader who is passionate about fresh, seasonal cooking, using produce grown on-site.
This is a permanent, full-time role with an immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading, motivating, and managing the kitchen team
- Ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and allergen awareness
- Designing and developing menus to reflect home-grown and seasonal produce
- Managing staff rotas, authorising holidays, and monitoring sickness levels
- Overseeing stock control, ordering, and supplier management
- Completing regular audits and maintaining compliance with all regulations
- Supporting with event catering where required
- Running the kitchen efficiently and effectively to consistently deliver quality
Requirements
- Proven Head Chef experience is essential
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management
- Ability to manage rotas, stock, and budgets effectively
- Creative approach to menu development with an emphasis on fresh, local produce

Weekend Chef de Partie.
Minimum 8 hours per week – 7am – 4pm either Saturday or Sunday
The Farmhouse Kitchen Restaurant, at Millets Farm, is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join their Farmhouse Kitchen Restaurant team at the weekends.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the restaurant’s menu standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow during service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and cooking stations.

Sprouts Playbarn
Part-Time Play Barn Assistant – Fixed Term Contract 4-5months
4 days per week (including Sundays)
Please note this position is a cross over to all Leisure areas in the play barn, including our Rose Cottage Cafe.
(With additional hours available to cover holidays and sickness)
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Play Barn Assistant to join our team at our busy soft play centre. This is a hands-on role in a fun, fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting and assisting customers with admissions
- Supervising play areas to ensure a safe and fun environment
- Supporting with birthday parties
- Helping in the café with food, drinks, and general service (when required)
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the play centre
- Assisting colleagues and ensuring great customer service at all times
Requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Friendly, approachable, and confident working with children and families
- Flexible to cover additional hours for staff holidays and sickness
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Happy with handling cash and card transactions
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or childcare setting is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided
