To gremlins and goblins and witches with charm, we invite you all to our Spook-tacular Farm. There’s a circus, a disco and pumpkins to pick, plus a wizarding school where you can practice a trick. And don’t miss the maze, it’s fiendish good fun. The whole family will enjoy it, even your Mum!



Roll up, roll up! John Lawson’s Circus is back and this time there’s ghoulish good fun to be had. Not only can you expect the wonderful and the whacky but this time there’ll be an extra touch of Halloween hocus pocus thrown in!

Ringmaster Chris Baltrop will be introducing his ALL NEW acts...

  • Los Remaches - the pair of Spanish clowns!
  • Miss Keyla performing laser lights
  • The Due Armando - Italian high speed roller skaters!
  • Miss Nikita – aerial moon and straps
  • Miss Jane Ferrandino on the amazing aerial silks
  • Matt Ryan’s cube manipulation and LED hula hoops

  • Featuring all new acts our Halloween themed circus for 2018 is totally family friendly.
  • Please note this show contains flashing and strobe lighting.
  • Tickets may be available on the day (cash only) but you are strongly advised to buy online as numbers are limited for each show.
  • Each performance lasts approximately 1 hour.
  • Acts are correct at time of publishing but may change nearer the actual event.
  • No animals take part in the Circus.
  • Scary dress to impress?...fancy dress very welcome!
  • Please book your group as a whole (i.e group of 4) but please be aware seating is not allocated.
  • All children (2 and over) and adults must have a ticket.
  • There is disabled/wheelchair access and seating however as this is limited please let us know in advance.
  • The John Lawson big top is a no smoking venue.
  • Sorry, no dogs are allowed inside the big top.

Please print your ticket out or keep on a phone/tablet to show electronically. However if you attend with just the written down reference number then please be prepared to head to the ticket booth and collect a ticket to present at the entrance to the big top as you will not be allowed into the show with just a code.

Calling young Witches and Wizards of all ages!

You are invited to join our Professor at Frost’s Wizard School. No previous spellcasting is necessary during this magical 35 minute experience, as our Professor and team find out if you’ve got what it takes to make a become a fully qualified Witch or Wizard.

There will be...

  • Entertainment
  • Songs
  • Chocolate apple dunking
  • And of course a trick or treat (or two)!

Plus all newt-ly qualified students will receive a special certificate.

There’s something spooky happening down at Millets Maze this Halloween...you might not be able to enter the giant maize maze but we have a whole host of Halloween quizzes and activities for young spirits and ghouls to enjoy. Explore the weird and wonderful woodlands, the freight-tastic fort, tractor trailer rides for all plus a casket of creepy courtyard fun.

Located on the overflow car park in the maze complex.


  • The mega maize maze is being used for the tractor ride.
  • Please be aware that the maize maze is a living crop. It is planted in April, and over the summer is lush and green reaching 8tf tall. During the summer the maize maze is our main attraction, but by October the plant is past its best, therefore we only use a small section of it to be part of our Halloween event.
  • We have 11 activities in the maze complex to enjoy - in the courtyard, woodlands, fort maze and midi and mini maize mazes.
  • Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Sorry, no dogs are allowed into the maze grounds.
  • In the event of heavy rain the maze site may be closed for health and safety reasons.
  • Due to uneven ground, the maize maze pathways may be unsuitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
  • If poor weather the terrain can also get muddy so please wear appropriate footwear.


We have been nurturing a huge number of pumpkins in our fields this year and now’s the perfect time for picking a pleasingly plump one!

Come along and choose one to carve or cook.


Open the weekends of 29th/30th September, 6th/7th & 13th/14th October then daily from the 20th-31st October, 9.30am-4.30pm.


Pumpkin prices vary depending on size.


Located in the PYO fields to the left of the Farm Shop.


  • Pick Your Own Pumpkins accepts cash only
  • Halloween merchandise and pumpkin carving kits can be purchased in our Pumpkin Place Marquee located within the Farm Shop (open 20th-29th October).
  • Millets Farm is a working farm and the ground is uneven in places which can make it difficult for pushchairs or wheelchairs.
  • Sorry, no dogs are allowed into the PYO fields.


  • Pumpkins are actually a fruit!
  • The largest pumpkin ever recorded was over 2,600lbs!
  • Each pumpkin has about 500 seeds.
  • There are more than 45 different varieties of pumpkin.
  • Most pumpkins are orange but they can come in green, pink, red, white and even blue!
  • Every single part of the pumpkin is edible – even the skin and stem!
  • A freshly cut pumpkin will keep in the fridge for 2-3 days or 6-8 months in the freezer.


Join us at Sprouts for a spooktacular evening of pumpkin carving, partying on the play frame and disco dancing fun! Start off by getting creative and carving your very own pumpkin followed by a devilishly delicious Halloween buffet. You will then be let loose on our huge play frame, complete with disco music to boogie to, for an evening of eerily excellent entertainment.

Come along in fancy dress and you might even bag yourself a prize for best costume!
