Saturday 22nd April

dogshow web

Join us for our 10th family fun dog show. Our Dog Show is a free charity event in support of the Guide Dog's for the Blind Association and this year we are celebrating all things dogs and creating the ultimate doggy day out...

Dogs & Handlers can enter any of our 12 wagtastic classes for £3.50 with all proceeds being donated to The Guide Dogs. To celebrate our big 10 year anniversary our prizes will be bigger and better than ever before.

For those that are not dog owners then just come along for free and soak up the atmosphere as a spectator.  Perhaps you are thinking of becoming a dog owner and want to see which breed is best for you – there will be lots of dogs woofing about!

With a variety of stalls, a demonstration from the best guide dogs in the country, music, BBQ & Refreshments Bar, it really is a day out not to be missed!

This class showcases the best mixes of breeds. Can the judge guess the breeds mixed in your dogs DNA? Show off your dog’s looks style and character whilst running around the ring.

12.20pm Golden Oldie (Age 10+)
Time for the oldies to show the other pooches how it’s done! Growing old is a privilege – does your dog look young for its age? Winners will be chosen on their looks and character not just on their age. After all age is just a number!

12.40pm Dog the Judge would most like to take home?
We all have our favourites – but will your dog be the judges? Is your dog a people pleaser / cuddly / cute / happy… let us be the judge of that!

2.00pm Fancy Dress
Dress to impress, either your dog or both handler and dog can enter as a fancy dress act. The crowd will have a huge say in who wins in this class.

2.20pm Musical Sit
Can your dog sit and sit fast? Dance with your dog until the music stops and then quickly command them to sit. The last to sit is out! Winner is the last dog remaining in the game.

2.40pm My Dogs Got Talent
With an audience judging panel can you do what it takes to perform without the dreaded buzzer of doom voting your act off?

3pm Yummiest Youngster 1 & Under
Everyone’s puppy is cute, but can your puppy win the heart of our judge? Looking for healthy bright eyed, cute and happy pups!

3.20pm Egg & Spoon Race
We all know how hard it is balancing an egg shape on a spoon, but it becomes even harder when you have your dog on a lead with you too! Winner will be the dog and owner who manage to have their egg on their spoon at the end!
